HYDRA

Hydra developer workspace

Pick up the coding sessions you already started.

Find existing agent sessions, organize your work, and keep jobs running when you close the app. Reach the same workspace from your browser or phone.

macOS and Linux. MIT-licensed source. No Hydra account needed for local use.

One workspace, from start to anywhere

Start in an existing project and resume an earlier coding-agent session. Close the app while retained jobs keep running on your awake machine, then return from the desktop or browser. A machine reboot ends running processes; supported agent conversations resume in new ones.

Organize every session

Projects, windows, panes, and live or resumable agent sessions stay visible together.

Use your own agents

Claude, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Copilot, Kimi, Kiro, Amp, Devin, Factory, and Antigravity.

Connect without an inbound port

The desktop or server agent dials out; Hydra’s cloud remains content-blind.

Direct downloads

Signed release downloads.

Brain (experimental) is available in the packaged macOS and Linux desktop. Coordinate parallel retained workers, open their sessions, review results, and request same-worker corrections. Brain is not included in the Windows beta or public local-source distribution.

Older terminal services may require Restart Terminal Service before Brain can run. Restart ends running terminal programs; save or finish work first. Cancel keeps ordinary sessions running, with Brain unavailable until upgrade. Saved projects and records are kept.
